This page will take the longest to complete, John has written many articles,
throughout his career
starting while he studied journalism at Marquette University in 1976-1981.
He wrote for the school newspaper and then began writing in his hometown of
Long Beach NY at weekly newspapers.
After newspaper, John set out to work in marketing at Wank Advertising
He learned alot from Marty Wank.
John's next job was at The March of Dimes as public relations director. It
was there that he bonded with families and brought them cheer through his
fun personality. John was touched by the many children he interacted
with. John founded WheelAmerica, an event he started on the Long Beach
boardwalk, giving people with disabilities a chance to raise money and get
out and have fun while showing how able they were raising money to help
people like themselves. John continued in his quest helping families in his
position as director of Public Relations for The National Kidney Foundation
of Va. spreading the word to help patients and families in the Richmond
area.
